The TA put a wrap promoting a TV Show on a R179 set on the A line not too long ago. They could run a single set of R179s on the D line wrapped in Yankee stripes.One could say, well the D doesn't use R179 s, neither did the 4 use R142s at the time the subway series occurred...R142s were only running on the 2 in Oct 2000 while the 4 was a mix of R62s and Redbirds. So putting a single set of R179s on the (D) for that purpose isn't far fetched lol. |
