Posted by rbseabeach on Thu Jun 23 11:12:47 2022 I just read that they are testing 100 CCTV Cameras ever since the 4/22 incident @ 36th Street station on the N,D & R train in Sunset PArk. I can recall reading many years ago that the 160's were "equipped" with the ability to install CCTV cameras and they tried it out on a few cars in the past.Are the 160's epuipped for CCTV cameras? If the program is now successful, would it be possible to retrofit the older cars? I also read that they did this in chicago with federal funds. Was that program successful in Chicago? Did it make a difference? Thank you!! |
