that there is still a train from 30th street to atlantic city is truly excellent. or astounding. when you consider how many rail lines went to parks and lakes and rivers and oceanfront that ain't around now.

"it's gonna be a hot day in the city today so i'm gonna take a train to the seashore this morning."

that that can be truthfully spoken warms my soul as much as knowing somebody can truthfully say

"i have business in town today so i'm gonna take the train from my town on the delaware river to the hoboken terminal and catch a boat to wall street."
