At least, the MTA could have had the new line curve back to Jamaica Ave, after Sutphin/Archer. They should have built stations at Parsons Blvd and 168th St under Jamaica Ave. The current terminal at Parsons/Archer not only screwed up Jamaica el service, but also several bus routes had to be rerouted to Archer Ave, as well. Or, just terminate the IND "E" train at Sutphin/Archer, with a subway-to-elevated transfer like the one at Roosevelt Ave.
