We already have 6 car links on the #7 line.We have 4 and 5 car links all over. If one car has a defect in any link, the whole set get taken out of service. Car Equipment likes linked cars because cables with the draw bar is much more dependable than the electric portions between the cars. So I understand your point, and I agree with it. But what we think doesn't count. I was just asking because when the shuttle was 3 and 4 car trains I did see linked cars. |
