Maybe there is a spare set that was made up for this. They've had 2 years to think this through. IINM, the Franklin Shuttle has 4 2-car sets. 2 are in operation, 1 is ready at Prospect Park and the 4th is at Coney Island. I'm sure there is a spare set at the ready somewhere. And if push came to shove, they could always just put a 5 car set on the line. |
