Yep- not only are the R10 numbers recycled- they're on the West Side IND!!Nowadays, even a deadhead is run with interior lights on. I seem to remember as recently as 2004 seeing deadheads run with no interior lights- almost as a signal to people on the platform that the train was not in service. I saw a lot of Slant 40s running dark in the late evening- Ws heading back from Astoria to CI. |
