Service is extended southward from 180th Street to the Harlem River. Stations are opened at Westchester Avenue, Hunts Point Avenue, Casanova, Port Morris and Harlem River.

The Harmon Cove station on the Bergen County Line is closed. Beginning on Monday August 4 Bergen County Line trains will begin stopping at the lower level of the Secaucus Junction station.
