You too?I rode a slant 40 on the J and Z a few times for the whole route! It was strange...to see these cars on Eastern Division routes. I grew up riding them along the EF lines. The A during the early 80s got em,the CC had them for a short while after the 32 left. The rebuild sent them to the BMT southern Division, with some heading to the east for L and M services. When the R143 started coming in,the Mod 40 and the Slants were all moved to the south. I really loved them on the A..its like they were built for Any IND EXPRESS ROUTE . |
