Funny thing, my mother had to point out the large magenta F on the side as a slant Fred was pulling into 34th St. one Saturday. I was so used to looking above the storm door for route and destination signs that I didn't notice that huge F sign, if you can believe it. My sister even liked them, and she is definitely not a subway buff. We rode on that train one stop to 42nd St. |
