The original Polo Grounds shuttle ran between June 11th, 1940 and June 19th, 1941, I believe. During that first year, the 3-cars trains had "BURNSIDE AVE" and "155 ST" on their side marker plates. I don't know if the later "167 ST" markers on the shuttle cars were pre-Unification, or made later on. |
