My feelings exactly. And the rush of adrenaline as your n/b Abbott bore down on 81st St. going full bore. You had the feeling that nothing could stop that train. Not to mention the earful everyone got on that platform. I experienced it firsthand on May 7, 1967 as we got off our n/b AA. A moment later, a blaze of teal and white ripped past in a blur, thundering, thundering louder than before.:) |
