[PHOTO] R-10 on the BMT Fulton El = April 15, 1956.

Sixty-five years ago on April 15, 1956, this R-10 set was seen on the middle lay-up track at Hinsdale Street, above Pitkin Avenue, on the BMT Fulton elevated line in Brooklyn.

An A/B Type Standard can be seen on the left side of this image from the nycsubway.org collection.

Of course, this image was taken just exactly two weeks prior to the IND Division takeover of the BMT Fulton Street elevated line above Liberty Avenue in Queens.
