Wikipedia doesn’t cite its source for 1970 and linked articles indicate it still stood in 1973, with a comment in one of them claiming it could have been there as long as 1974 and only torn down to build the tram.A description from New York Magazine from 1973 indicated that the walkway was on the upper level on the south side whereas I had thought of it as being on the north side. |
