When I lived in Wash Hts, I recall a White Castle around 138 St/Bway near the 137 St terminal of the IRT Bway Line. At one point it went out of business, and due to the increasing Latin-American population of the neighborhood new owners bought the building, painted it brown and renamed it “Spanish Castle.”
