In fact the only way I found out that the door control (bypass) buttons were sealed was from reading an old BMT instruction book that mentioned it. When I broke in on the steels, they were not sealed. Interestingly, the bypass button on the Multis was not sealed since what was used as a bypass (door control) button was the left hand buzzer button on the C/R’s door controls that were on the M/M’s side of the cab. The button was painted red. |
