Between Jackson Hts and Queens Plaza, the difference in running time is only 4 minutes. They didn't add the BMT service to the local just to feed the E&F. They thought some people will get on and simply ride through. The IND between Broadway-Nassau and 34th or 42nd is quite slow and negligible difference with an 8th Avenue local. |
