There is talk in Elmhurst about bring back the LIRR station there. People are frustrated with NYCT service.Reopening a closed station is a lot easier than bringing back a rail line that's been abandoned and deteriorating for decades. In some can-do cities like Dallas or Charlotte that sort of project might work, but certainly not in New York. |
