It would have been a very dangerous move that would likely have had to shut down the NEC for the duration, with a pilot train, with military and police guards at all stations, bridges, and tunnels, would have made the RFK Funeral train look like child's play.Amtrak had just sent P42 #46 from Beech Grove to DC on the Cardinal with decals. |
