Yes there were. Read my posts carefully, There are bellmouths at the S/E of Whitehall St for connection to a new underwater tunnel. They were originally intended for a new subway in downtown Bkln as part of the Ashland Pl connection to a rebuilt Fulton St el. Since The IND Fulton St Line was a direct replacement for the Fulton St el, the bellmouths could be repurposed for a new tunnel connecting Whitehall with Court St. The BMT infrastructure form Cortlandt St south is under Church St in almost perfect alignment with the IND tracks at Hudson Terminal.
