At some point in the IND both first and second system, there would have had to be some local service between the boroughs as was the case with the Concourse. It may have worked out that way initially, but there would have been at least one local service between Bkln and Manhattan coming off the Utica/Stuyvesant subway since there was no provision for tuning back any local service from the Marine Pk area at S 4 St. A connection between Court St and The BMT at Whitehall St makes perfect sense and I have seen documentation to that effect somewhere. |
