Pictures I've seen of Park Row appear to indicate a mezzanine level, not direct to street stairways.As to fare controls, that might vary depending on the era we're talking about. In its glory years, Park Row had distinct entrance and exit platforms. The fare controls would have required a way to segregate incoming and outgoing traffic. In its last years, when the conduit tracks were removed, Park Row had only two active tracks, and an interlocking was created east of the station, it must have been much different. I'll see if I can find more. |
