They were a treat to ride as far as I was concerned, although by the time I started fanning they were relegated between HOB and HT.
I remember their swift and smooth ride and the A/C was tops.
But why did H&M opt out for incandescent lighting wheh NYC subwyas had fluorescent lighting since 1948 ?
