Posted by IRTRedbirdR33 on Wed Jul 8 08:19:08 2020 Tuscarora Almanac – July 8, 1931 – The Book of First Runs Brooklyn, New York Brooklyn-Manhattan Transit Company The new cars for the INDependent Subway begin passenger service on the No. 4 Sea Beach Line of the BMT. The consist of the first train was 214-211-208-207-384-387-385-381 (All R-1’s). Testing continued until November 27 when the cars were returned to the IND via carfloat.
