With the early TV sets indoor antennas usually didn't work too well. Today I live just outside the city and have a very inexpensive antenna in my attic and I pick up all the local stations in HD. In those days television sets were expensive and needed frequent repair as the tubes would fail over time. We used to fix things rather than just throw them away and they were all made in USA. |
