The steepest grade is on the Williamsburg Bridge approach leaving Essex St: 5.5%, but it's only for about 390 feet, after which it becomes approximately 4%. The second steepest is on the Manhattan Bridge approaches: 5.4%, but it's much longer, approximately 900 feet. |
