Eff that (de)Bozo. That means regular riders have to bustitute (he said transit runs buses for construction projects so they can run buses for this) one stop. Meanwhile the homeless can stay on the inbound train.So the normal passenger on inbound trains can pretend to be homeless to avoid the bus? Why should the normal passenger get screwed? This is another "flavor of the day" which eventually be dropped due to a lack of money. And for it to work you can't cut the initiative at certain stations as you go along because the smells will flock to those trains. I know because when I was working the M shuttle, if the outreach people were at Jamaica Center, they'd flock to the M train for a few nights. Then they'd go back to the E when the outreach people went away. |
