What the MTA might not like would be the extra switching moves (when the 3 goes to Newlots, it's a straight-ahead move, also, when the 4 goes to Newlots, it's already on the local track (Track 1)).A 4 running express and going to Newlots would have to make a switching move east of the station (eastbound) and west of the station (westbound) (if I read the track map correctly) |
