Yes. The lower level tracks are still A1 and A2.

You could argue one less junction to deal with, but there was a strange effort to keep Culver from being even slightly BMT, even rechaining the line as IND "B" almost to W8.

"City Yard," which was built specifically to provide an isolated yard for the future city-run Culver has only a single track connection to the whole rest of Coney Island Yard, to this day.
