Plenty of businesses have very good reasons to avoid handling cash, or to restrict what size bills or coins that they accept. As long as they have a sign that informs customers ahead of time I'm fine with it. There are many jurisdictions that already have laws requiring certain businesses to accept cash. Typical would be up to $20 bills. I think NYC has one going into effect soon. |
