I have archived the 1988 articles in which the MTA readily admitted the Archer stations were overbuilt, and that if they had it to do over again, the work would have been simpler.28 years later, we got the SAS. All 3 of its stations are overdone, but especially 86th Street. I cannot for the life of me understand why it's so deep. I don't consider Lex/63 to be an SAS station. Although SAS trains use it, it was built at the same time as Archer. |
