You have to understand Democratic progressives leaders embrace high speed rail as a cash cow where their lawyer buddies write the environmental impact studies , fight the lawsuits (part of the money sucking plan) and they collect the bribes along the way . Building the train or making it useful to riders is not importantSame as the whole “affordable housing “ scam in nyc . Politically connected developer who has little to no experience , forced to use labor from select union locals . New units of crappy small apartments are costing the city $450,000 each in Coney Island . Full cost for nice well equipped apartments but apartments being built are substandard crap . |
