From the article:"The Port Authority, the massive bureaucracy that controls the New York area’s ports, airports and several bridges, demanded that the Long Island Railroad provide a straight-shot route from Farley to Kennedy Airport..." So there could have been a direct rail link to JFK, instead of Airtrain? |
