Stations are opened at Liberty Avenue, Van Siclen Avenue, Shephard Avenue and Euclid Avenue. Tuscarora Almanac – November 28, 1962 – The Book of Wrecks Brooklyn, New York New York City Transit Authority BMT Division A crane falls from the BMT Culver El structure at West 6th Street and Sheepshead Bay Road resulting in the deaths of three workers. The crane, No. 20158 was built in 1914 as BRT 3055. Source: New York Division Bulletin / December 1962 Tuscarora Almanac - November 28, 1969 - The Book of Wrecks Bronx, New York New York City Transit Authority IND Division There was a collision on the IND Grand Concourse Line when an empty ten car "CC" rolled backwards from 167 Street and crashed into another "CC" train at the161 Street Station during the PM rush. The consist of the empty train was (n) 501, 456, 393, 660, 513, 428, 354, 275, 621 and 434. The consist of the train at 161 Street was (n) 634, 568, 381, 511, 527, 504, 547, 563, 619 and 444.
