Considering several LD routes have the highest ridership since Amtrak was formed, I wouldn't say they're dying at all.They will have a tough time killing off the Auto Train, LSL, Silver Meteor, Coast Starlight, Empire Builder, California Zephyr, and possibly City of New Orleans and Silver Star. I don't have high hopes for Sunset LTD, Cardinal. |
