The Rockaways has always been a hybrid rapid transit/commuter rail with trains no more frequent than 15 - 20 minutes.The IND Culver line has had trains at 4 - 5 minute rush hour intervals for 2 generations. I doubt people are going to let a local F go by to wait for the express F that runs twice a day. |
