Bill: The were in my humble opinion the best damn subway cars ever built. That is a great collection of photographs. The last one in particular was taken from a train just south of the East 180th Street Shops. This was a favorite location to photograph the line up of equipment in the yard. Many pictures have been taken at this same site over the years. One could write a history of the IRT from the picture alone. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
