They could deny funding and/or authorization in the present day. But they may have been engaging in perverse forward things and have been trying to prevent a future administration from extending the IRT there.Years later, as we all know (and many of us, myself included, have ridden it), a very seriously, really committed administration got the IRT extended anyway. For which I'm glad. Too bad stop at 42nd/10th got cut. |
