I would imagine heavy maintenance work on the Standards (truck change and the like) was also done at CIYD Main Shop, while routine maintenance on the Eastern Division Standards was done at DOYd (District Office Yard) known today as East New York Yard. Routine maintenance on the Standards assigned to CIYD based routes and the DTypes was assigned to CIYD barn.Just like today the main shop at CI and the barn are separate entities. Same goes for 207th St. |
