Well it was worth seeing Steve but I got a kick in the pants when I tried to transfer from the 62nd St. West End Station downstairs to the Sea Beach line only to find out that repair work and closed the New Utrecht entrance to my train and forced me to walk a ways to catch up to the Sea Beach. Fortunately the guy in charge let me go through the door and not have to pay another $3.00 for the privilege of riding the "N" to Coney Island.They're installing ADA elevators and other work at that end. There's a Metrocard transfer, but you have to walk all the way around to the fare controls at the opposite end of New Utrecht Ave station. Bill Newkirk |
