Understood. My experience w/ GFI receptacles from Asis (China, Korea, Malaysia) has been much worse thanw Mexican product. (Most of them come in w/US brand names and the tiniest type allowed indicating country of origin). OTOH, circuit breakers from GE Singapore seem to have stood up as well as US product--often mixed in a quantity carton.

The era when the manufacturers actually did strict QA seem to be over--the customer becomes the QA inspector--what a drag.
