They definitely looked better with the original blue doors and end roll signs and marker lights than today with just the flip dot on the end. They accelerated much better than the R27/30 due to less weight and also did not have A/C before GOH. I remember them pre-Chrystie running on the N,Q, and T express runs and they looked good. |
