Thanks as always!!Unfortunate about the Lower Montauk stations. Though lightly used (to be generous), if they'd been preserved, maybe today the case for upgrading the line- either by LIRR or to subway standards, would be stronger. As for the 148-Lenox Terminal's opening, I wish I cold remember it, but at the time I had 10 more weeks of being carried by my Mom. So while she used to be very up on all things transit, this probably wasn't first 'n foremost on her mind...LOL.!! |
