That said, the storefronts along the walkways between the station entrances and Amazon will have insane rents, everyone wants to be the Starbucks/Dunkin/Hipster-coffe-shop along the way thousands of 6 figure young folk will be walking along each morning... and correspondingly a bar for the evenings.Not sure 25K people approaching on half a dozen different routes is critical mass for that. Take a look at Google Street View for Crescent Street from Queensboro Plaza to the Citicorp building. Not wall-to-wall Starbucks and their ilk. Mostly non-retail frontage. |
