You can see where the SIR R44's got reinforced. There's an L shaped bracket at the two top corners of each door set. They sides of the cars are also wrinkly looking, which tells me the frames are deteriorating. Then there is a longitudinal strip along the edge of the roof to prevent water infiltration. St Louis car was not good at building great bodies. ACF was better. |
