It was in operation for the spring meet at Aqueduct Race Track but its operation was not renewed for the fall meet which began on October 14. Source: New York Division Bulletin / December 1981 I believe the JFK Express had taken over most of the duties of the Aqueduct Special and had also been stopping at Aqueduct anyway. The JFK Express included FREE admission, the Aqueduct Special did not. |
