That structure is south of 149th St. I don't how long it remained up until demolition. I'll ask him when I see him soon. Bill: Service on the el south of 149th Street ended in May 1955. After that trains would run light south of 149th Street and reverse on the ramp south of 143rd Street station. This continued until July, 1956 when a double crossover was placed in service north of 149th Street station. The structure south of 149th Street was removed sometime after that. Larry, RedbirdR33 |
