Biggest problem with all GG-1's was Frame cracks and as long as they were running they stayed clean and only had to be watched , with them sitting around for some 30 years the rust is expanding and enlarging frame cracks, add to that the limited visibility, slow max speed, lack of modern ATC/PTC and absence of HEP .so no you will never see one running again . |
