He replied that he was not allowed to answer any questions about operations, and that if I had questions, I should arrange for an instructor or a line supervisor* to accompany me on an LRV. I can also understand the operator's point of view - he/she needs to concentrate on operating the train/coach and not be distracted by conversations. *don't know if this is/ or was the correct term, just writing here from memory. |
