The Spamcans were also 2 man cars and a “C/R” (probably either a light duty or extra M/M) used a fare box similarly attached. SEPTA actually wanted some of the CTA singles which were set up for OPTO for use on Skokie Swift, but the CTA was unwilling to give them up.
